The incredible adventures of Cinnamon Girl

Last year (2016) I was Incredibly honored to be asked to create a poster for Houghton Library. It was part of their ‘library Hacks’ project where a group of teenagers work on projects for the community in the library. They had won a competition to invite a local artist to produce a movie style poster for Melissa Keil’s  new book: The incredible adventures of Cinnamon Girl. I had great fun designing the poster with the help of the library hacks. We had a discussion and did some research on the internet together. Then I went away with their ideas and combined them with my own to create an original poster. I was really pleased with the end result. I used a mixture of hand drawings and photoshop to create a unique looking design. This was also my first commission and so it is like the first mile-stone in my art career.
